I’m not a medical examiner, nor a CSI, but I am an artist, an inspector of life, a conscientious observer, and a curious soul, unafraid of dipping below the surface of a situation to better understand.
Artist and choreographer, Twyla Tharp wrote that “our ability to grow is directly proportional to an ability to entertain the uncomfortable”, and, I know this to be true, both personally, and by what I have witnessed in others while facilitating creative workshops.
Autopsy of a Season explores autopsy as a metaphor for reflection—more specifically, the Christian practice of the Examen.
This workshop is designed to help you get beneath the surface of a season, an experience, a situation, etc, and consider all the facts, as a means of helping you to forgive, to heal, to find hope, to have your joy restored, or perhaps to find clarity where something has seemed unfinished or unresolved.*
